Sense&Memory is an arts project for younger and older participants, working in collaboration with artists to creatively explore personal responses to different sensory stimulation.
Working together with: North London Cares at Kentish Town Community Centre; Free Space Projects at Kentish Town Health Centre; and Queens Crescent Community Association, in collaboration with London-based artists employing a wide range of creative practices (photography, video, sculpture, sound, dance/movement, drawing and painting), older and younger community members local to the different sites are invited to take part in a series of arts-based sensory workshops, bringing intergenerational community members together to creatively explore memory and experience, working toward exhibitions and celebratory events.
The project is being supported through the Tesco/Groundwork community funding programme.
CSKX Studios is currently in discussion with Camden community groups and centres, schools, health centres, a care home and local artists to devise and undertake arts-based workshops. These will be advertised here and promoted through our partner organisations. Please return to this page for details or get in contact for further information.
If you would like to discuss working together or collaborating on a project please get in touch.
All our projects are dependent on available funding. If you are able to support our work, we look forward to hearing from you.
