During the initial workshops at Gospel Oak Primary School, Year 4 pupils explored and developed a range of creative approaches to working with our senses and sensory stimulation. They worked with a different artist each week, focusing on a different sense.
In subsequent workshops, held on Mondays at Kentish Town City Farm, six pupils from each of the two Year 4 classes shared their explorations with older community members. The children then took the lead in further developing their approaches with the older workshop participants.
This project is a collaboration between Gospel Oak Primary School, Kentish Town City Farm, Queens Crescent Community Association and Castlehaven Community Centre.
Dates: 10 workshops during the 2019 summer term.
With many thanks to the Yr4 teachers - Stephanie, Megan and Joss.
